The Beginning

2:49 am. The seed has been planted, the wine has been drunk, and theres no turning back now. The Beginning of this blog commemorates the moment I, Katie and my roommate/Co writer Danika begin a long, peril filled, shenanigan riddled journey across North America.
Date of departure:
APRIL 4 2013 (aka my 21st birthdayy!!)

The first challenge:

WHERE'S THE MONEY?!?!?

Danika's money goes mostly towards shoes and booze.

Mine? well..I like to eat it.

THE PLAN:

- no shoes.
-no booze. (just kidding.. bahahah did you really think that was a true statement?)
-no eating out.
-work like a bat outta hell.

Come February, our lease will be up and to get our cash money dollar flow coming in at high speed we plan on living in our travelling vehicle, our soon to be bought trailer. Yeah, we're going to live in a trailer. In a Trailer park. So classy.

This would be more the reality of the situation....but not quite so well fed.

And so begins part one of the journey. Acquiring the funds, the vehicle, and the balls to go through with it.

We will check in periodically with an update on the money saved and the struggles of materialism that taunt us day to day.
